BSIC aim’s to engage black students at Ivey by creating a community that helps them feel included and valued. We strive to build and nurture each other’s success through networking, mentorships, and employment opportunities. To ensure an inclusive environment at Ivey for all minority groups, BSIC will advocate for minority groups, and serve as a liaison between minority groups and Ivey on diversity issues.
The Ivey Accounting Club (IAC) is dedicated to supporting HBA students in launching their accounting careers.

The Ivey Asset Management Club (IAMC) is the largest student organization dedicated to providing opportunities in buy-side finance. Ivey Book Club (IBC) is a diverse group of individuals who all share a passion for reading. As one of Ivey’s first interest-based clubs, IBC is a place for all who are interested in or want to explore the world of books and beyond. IBC aims to enhance the educational experience at Ivey, but also be a safe space for students to share their knowledge with thought-provoking reading, enriching discussion, and connecting with like-minded people. Ivey Business Review is written, designed, and managed by undergraduate students at the Ivey Business School and is the largest undergraduate business publication of its kind in the country. IBR publishes two issues annually in December and April with content created exclusively by students and maintains an active blog, curated by the IBR Editorial Board, with contributions from students and young alumni.
The Ivey Case Competition Club (ICCC) is Ivey’s official case competition team, representing the school at competitions at the national and international levels. Our HBA2/3 international team members have previously competed in 10+ cities around the world including Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Maastricht, Los Angeles and Budapest.

The Ivey Chess Entity (ICE) is a community designed to bring together students who share a passion for chess. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, ICE provides a welcoming environment where members can both improve their skills and enjoy the game with peers. Our mission is to create a social network of like-minded individuals who appreciate chess as a way to sharpen strategic thinking, build lasting connections, and simply enjoy playing this great game. ICE supports players at all levels by offering opportunities to learn and grow through friendly matches, workshops, and tournaments. Our club promotes a culture of collaboration, where members can develop their skills through practice, mentorship, and guidance from experienced players. The Community Consulting Project (CCP) is a program that matches Ivey student teams with local non-profit organizations to undertake pro bono consulting projects. These projects are completed by Ivey students alongside clients, mentors, and industry professionals throughout the Fall semester.
During the project, we deliver two training workshops that provide students with consulting resources and an exclusive networking opportunity with Accenture. Student teams are guided in their research, analysis, and deliverable by consultants from Accenture.
At the end of the project, student teams present their recommendations addressing the clients’ business issues and are recognized for their accomplishments. Past strategic initiatives include creating a three-year sustainability plan, developing marketing strategies, and conducting a capital spend analysis.

Ivey Community Engagement Club (ICEC) aims to engage youth in the London area with Ivey through teaching the case method and offering mentorship to high school students. Cases are taught by HBA students, and the case curriculum is developed in collaboration with Ivey faculty. ICEC’s engagements are inspired by three main pillars:
Diversity of Thought – Build an HBA community that recognizes the need for business leadership in a wide range of fields.
Socioeconomic Equity – Support students who traditionally would not pursue a business education.
Community Engagement – Provide Ivey students with more opportunity to give back to the local community.

The Ivey Consulting Club (ICC) helps students explore, understand, and ease into consulting recruiting. We make the industry more accessible and approachable while giving members the tactical skills and resources they need to succeed. Ivey Degrowth Club (IDC) presents alternative economic structures that align with Earth’s planetary boundaries while offering pragmatic solutions to the various crises we face today. Discussions will coincide with the HBA curriculum to offer alternative discussions to course programming such as the infinite growth narrative taught in mainstream economic classes such as GMM.

Ivey Fintech Club collaborates with the Ivey Scotiabank Digital Banking Lab to educate and increase student exposure to technological disruption in financial services, drive thought leadership on the future of financial services innovation, and provide opportunities for student advancement into fintech.

The Ivey Human Capital Club develops human capital, including professional, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities within the Ivey community. The IHCC supports students pursuing careers in organizational behaviour, human resources, organizational strategy, human capital consulting, executive compensation consulting, organizational design and analytics, talent development, and related careers. The IHCC hosts professional development seminars, human capital industry speaker panels, executive dinner simulations, salary negotiation workshops, and guest and member presentation opportunities to achieve its mission.

Ivey International Business Club helps students explore international career opportunities and connect with Ivey & Western alumni outside of Canada. We lead annual international career conferences around the world, including Hong Kong, London U.K., and San Francisco. The Ivey Law Club helps connect students who share an interest in working in the legal field. The Ivey Mustangs Network (IMN) is a newly ratified club that aims to connect past and present student athletes in the HBA community and help student athletes leverage their sports experience in recruiting and networking. The Ivey Real Estate Club introduces HBA students to the real-estate industry by helping teach and develop the skills necessary for success in the field. Through panel discussions, workshops, industry speaker series, and networking events, members gain valuable experience and are exposed to opportunities that build a strong foundation for a career in real estate. Various functions including investments, asset management, and developments will be discussed in meetings such that members gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
IREC provides a great alumni network for current students looking to break into the industry and prides itself on a strong track-record of both summer and full-time recruiting success. The club’s executive team provides useful mentorship and resources throughout the academic year to members interested in pursuing a career in real estate.

The Ivey Sales Club (ISC) helps HBA students dive into the sales industry, giving them the skills they need to succeed in various sales roles. The Ivey Wealth Management Club (IWM) aims to provide a platform that empowers students with the skills needed to navigate their personal finances as well explore Wealth Management as a career. The club is committed to providing educational resources and seminars on various aspects of wealth management (investment strategies, tax planning, estate planning, and other relevant topics). Ivey LEADER Project enables students to teach existing and aspiring entrepreneurs a foundational business understanding through the Ivey case method. Each year, students travel abroad to 7 countries across Asia and Eastern Europe for two weeks to teach entrepreneurs of all ages the analytical tools, thought processes and decision-making skills to tackle complex business challenges. |
